With sea level rising, global raising heat causing drought in the Sahel, or storms and flooding in low lying coastal city of West Africa becoming more and more common, the reality of climate change has always been clear.
Hence the COP 21 accord originally signed by 195 countries in Paris. Aimed to cut greenhouse gas emissions, the world must be united in working for a safe and sustainable future with net zero carbon emissions by the second half of this century or else we may be in serious problem.
THIS LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IS FREE, IT IS SOLELY TO HELP CATALYZE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS TO THE CLIMATE CRISIS BY MAKING URGENT ACTION A NECESSITY ALL OVER THE WORLD.
At Climate Reality Project, they are working to accelerate the global shift from the dirty fossil fuel driven global economies to clean renewables. So that we can all power our lives and economies without destroying the EARTH, sadly, it can only happen if we all know about the solutions to the crisis and we all work together.
That’s why Climate Reality Project and her numbers trained leaders is uniting millions from all over the globe – factory workers and farmers, doctors, student, unemployed, retired, politicians, teachers, taxi drivers and students, and more – to make our respective national and global leaders honor and strengthen their commitments to taking climate action as they made in the Paris Agreement in December 2015.
Anyone can Apply and I feel that as young Africans who will be greatly affected by climate change and maybe the only generation that can address it before the crisis worsens more, I feel strongly interested people working on SDGs especially 13 should get involved and Apply.
Already some of my members in my organization from Cameroon, Africa have been selected already and about 10 more from other vulnerable nation have been picked.
However, to become trained as a Climate Reality Leadership Corps participant, you must first Apply, then hopefully get accepted to attend the training , which will mean you will be trained by former US Vice President His Excellency, Mr. Al Gore who actually mentored me and now I run a global platform of advocates that are tackling climate change in their own little way.
