What are the last steps of the big names out there for the sustainable fashion? Well, surfing on the net apparently the big trend of all coming is the FIFA World Cup 2018 but based on my research there is almost nothing in regards of sustainable fashion. However, other aspects of this incredible event cover the sustainability concept but I will talk about that in the Design category. So, guys, I am sorry but you will have to wait a bit longer for that. Don’t hate me ahaha…. Meanwhile, today we will talk about Adidas and Lacoste for their last initiatives and advancements in the sustainable fashion sector.

Adidas And Lacoste Have Made Their Name In the Sustainable Fashion Industry. What About You!?

Always remaining in the football balloon what Adidas it did for the Manchester United is really exemplary in its made of. Adidas have designed it in collaboration with Parley a top kit entirely made it from recycled ocean plastic. This is a third kit for the Manchester United athletes and is used usually when they are away and for an official match but still an important remarkable point in the Adidas activities for the awareness of the environmental issue. In addition to that, Adidas with Parley have also done other collaboration in name of the marine protection such as the revised model of the Adidas shoes of the 90’ made it entirely from recycled plastic, a collection of swimwear made it from up-cycled net and debris and already on 2016 another top kit from recycled ocean plastic but this time for the Real Madrid and Bayer Munich football team. Adidas has stated that by 2024 all its products will be made of recycled plastic and honestly we hope so.Meanwhile, for the classy but comfy people, Lacoste has made a limited edition-collection on for remember the importance of the biodiversity at risk of extinction.

They basically change their classic logo of the crocodile with ten species in extinction such as the Sumatran Tiger or the Anegada Rock Iguana. The change applied is shown on the classic polo shirt model of Lacoste and, honestly I am not surprised about that, is already sold out. The good news and the main reason for why I decided to report that is because any earning of this sell will be gone to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The IUCN is a wildlife protection and sustainability defence organization present and actively on the move from about 70 years in the world. That’s what I found for this week in the sustainable fashion category. If you know something more relevant just let me know and I will update the article for you. For now, it’s all! Be safe and don’t get lost out there.Unsustainability is offline…
